Hey, guy I barely know.
Please stop messaging me and asking for help with things you could just as easily look up on Google in less than 5 minutes. Just because I am an artist and know how to use Photoshop doesn’t mean I’m automatically obliged to assist you with every little problem you have. Oh, you want my help because you’re trying to start your own business? Are you going to be offering your services for free? No? Didn’t think so. So why do you think I should willingly give my time away for free? I am a professional and my time is just as valuable as yours. If you were a family member or a very close friend I wouldn’t have an issue with helping because those people understand and respect me and my work. You, on the other hand, are not only constantly bombarding me with inane questions about graphic design, you also demand that I take photographs for you, promote you and share my resources with you, yet haven’t once offered to compensate me for my time. You wouldn’t dare go up to a doctor or into an accounting office and start spewing out demands for their knowledge and time and not at least expect to pay for their services, so why am I any different? Because I’m an artist? I love my profession and cannot see myself ever doing anything else but it is just that: MY PROFESSION. My art, Photoshop and performance skills are what pay my rent and keep my pets fed, so time spent working for free directly and often negatively impacts my life. So no, I can’t tell you how to resize an image or change the colour of something. Go ask Google, it is a great and vast resource.
I do have one small piece of advice I’m willing offer to you for free: Learn how to say “please” and “thank you”. They will get you further in life than your current selfish attitude and rude demands.
